From furniture built long ago to designers whose aesthetics are shaping modern sensibilities, Antiques at the Gardens is a showcase for timeless splendor.
The 16th once-a-year function, hosted by the Mates of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, kicks off Sept. 29 and runs by Oct. 2. It incorporates 12 speakers, 22 sellers and about 150 volunteers – all doing work collectively to assist the Gardens and to educate and entertain people who attend.
First Horizon Lender is the presenting sponsor of this year’s show, which capabilities textile sponsor Sister Parish Design and style as well as talks and reserve signings by nationally and internationally acclaimed inside designers, floral designers, architects, landscape architects and household furniture designers.

Antiques at the Gardens draws people from all above Alabama and the Southeast. Proceeds benefit the ongoing stewardship and enhancement of the Gardens, academic plans and outreach activities.
Antiques at the Gardens will get off to a festive begin Sept. 29 with Gala in the Gardens, a glittering celebration honoring longtime BBG supporters Maggie and Will Brooke.
